I am not a big fan of theatrical musical plays. I can count on my fingers how many I've seen. Okay, I think I only saw two, both of which are foreign musical plays. Rak of Aegis created a big fuzz and everyone started talking about it saying that it was soooo good and that got me curious. I'm sure I'm not the only one who sings "Ulan" and "Halik" on videoke every chance they get. :) And this run is actually the "Extended" run so that says alot on what a success this show has been!!So finally I was able to secure tickets and I couldn't wait.

The show was A----mazing!!! Full of witty and funny lines that cracks the audience to a

series of long laughs. :) All the actors were so brilliant and full of energy with a superb comic timing. They captured the hearts of the audience especially when they tackled the resiliency of Filipinos despite their circumstances.

I have so much respect for theatrical actors but this show brings up the way I see them to a whole new level. I can't even drop names on who among them shone the brightest because each one of them had their finest moments. Props to all the actors, musical director and everyone behind Rak of Aegis. I have found a new love and interest on watching our own musical plays. This will definitely not be the last. :)

Their run is until the end of August so I suggest you grab your tickets now. :)
